UPSC exams 2026

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recruits for the All India Services and central government Group A and B posts. Its best-known exam is the Civil Services Examination (for IAS, IPS, IFS and other services), held in three stages: preliminary, main and personality test (interview).

UPSC also conducts NDA, CDS, CAPF (Assistant Commandant), Engineering Services and other exams. The Civil Services exam needs a graduate degree, and the number of attempts allowed depends on your category.
