Defence exams 2026

Defence recruitment covers the Army, Navy and Air Force. Agniveer entries under the Agnipath scheme are mostly for 10th or 12th pass candidates. Officer entries include NDA (after 12th) and CDS (for graduates), both conducted by UPSC, and AFCAT (for graduates), conducted by the Indian Air Force.

Physical standards and medical fitness count as much as the written exam, so read the height, chest and medical rules in each notification before you apply.
